4The life of Jesus:  The Christian faith proclaims that God wants to heal all people, free and bestow on them eternal life, through Jesus. So Jesus is the central figure of the Christian faith and also of the Church of St. Michael. At the entrance, under the gallery, he is shown as a child who blesses all people. On the cross at the triumphal arch, he rises as the sufferer and the dying before the congregation. At the top of the High Altar, he appears as (through the Father) the Resurrected and Risen Lord, who will come again at the end of time to lead all people to the glory of God. |
